Cooperative Waqf · Est. Canada · Operating in Afghanistan
RENation is a cooperative where businesses pool capital (as a waqf) to build community businesses for generations to come.
A Different Kind of Giving
Your waqf represents your ownership in the cooperative. Every waqf builds businesses. Every business feeds a family. Your children inherit your waqf.
You are the founder of a permanent endowment that will carry your name and your intention forever.
About Us
RENation is a permanent business-capital initiative built around cooperative waqf.
One contribution. One permanent pool. Generations of businesses.
How It Works
A business dedicates capital to RENation Cooperative, once, as a permanent Waqf. It is never withdrawn.
An entrepreneur applies to start or establish a business — with a specific plan and a real path to standing on their own.
RENation's local team reviews it — evaluating whether this is a business that can actually take hold.
Selected entrepreneurs receive the capital, interest-free, to build the business.
Repayment follows a schedule matched to how a new business actually earns.
The capital funds the next business. Not next year. Not once. Forever.
Our First Focus
RENation begins with businesses and communities where productive capital is difficult to access and where establishing a business can have a meaningful economic impact.
We started in Afghanistan, where capable, credible entrepreneurs are held back not by ability but by the absence of any functioning system willing to extend them credit. We're opening next in Africa and Asia, for the same reason as RENation grows.
On the contributing side, we started in Canada, home to business owners who know exactly what a first chance was worth to them. As RENation grows, we expect the same instinct to travel to sympathetic business owners across the world.
Only an entrepreneur can truly understand another entrepreneur.
Stewardship & Transparency
We start with one question, asked the same way every time, for every business, in every country:
Is this a genuinely viable business, run by someone capable of establishing it, that a defined amount of permanent capital can realistically get on its feet?
You will always be able to see exactly what your Waqf is doing: which businesses it has established, where, and what RENation's local offices are seeing on the ground.
Permanence does not mean opacity — if anything, it demands more transparency, not less, since this relationship has no natural end point.
Generational Thinking
We are not building for one fundraising campaign.
We are building for people who have not yet been born.
The measure of success is therefore not simply how much capital we raise. It is whether the system remains useful decades from now.
Membership is a small, recurring contribution — $5/month or $55/year — that funds RENation's operating costs (local offices, vetting, reporting) and connects you to the broader community of contributing businesses. It's entirely separate from a Waqf contribution, which is a one-time, permanent gift to the lending capital itself.

Separate from establishing a Waqf. Membership fees cover RENation's administrative costs only.
When You Give a Waqf
You have to be a member to contribute.
Your dedication is permanent, and that's the entire point. You give once.
What you gave keeps funding businesses long after you've stopped thinking about the gift.
Every dollar funds businesses, not overhead.
The separate membership fee runs RENation's operations — your Waqf goes to entrepreneurs, 100%, forever.
You can dedicate it in your name, your business's name, or in memory of someone.
A Waqf given in memory of a parent or loved one keeps their name attached to something that never stops giving.
You'll see what your endowment has built.
Ongoing reporting on businesses funded — this year, and every year after — respecting each entrepreneur's privacy.
We won't promise a financial return, because there isn't one — this isn't an investment.
We promise disciplined stewardship: local verification, a real plan, and honest evaluation, protecting the endowment for the generation of entrepreneurs after this one.
Build Something That Outlasts All of Us
RENation isn't just an endowment. It's a community of business owners who understand exactly what a new business needs most, at the exact moment nobody else will provide it — and who've decided that need shouldn't depend on any one person giving again and again.
RENation is for businesses and business owners who believe their capital can do more than sit in an account or be used once.
It can become permanent infrastructure.
